Alabama: A Dynasty Once Again!
Alabama Crimson Tide demolished Notre Dame tonight 42-14, to take their third National Championship in the last four years. Led by quarterback AJ McCarron and offensive MVP running back Eddie Lacy, the Tide started rolling straight from kickoff. Nick Saban cemented his legacy as one of the greatest coaches ever in college football, and is now a Alabama icon on the same level as the legendary Bear Bryant.
It started bad for the Fighting Irish and it never got better. It was obvious early on that Manti Te’o and the rest of the Notre Dame defense were in for a long night, struggling from the get-go to contain the dynamic running back duo of Eddie Lacy and TJ Yeldon. Missed tackles seemed to be the norm, and the physically bigger Alabama team bullied their way into an early lead. They kept run after run alive, demoralizing the Irish with their trademark grinding style.
This is the seventh time in a row that a SEC team wins the title, so get ready to hear about that all day every day if you are a fan of another conference. What Alabama has done in the last couple of years is even more impressive, when you think of the schedule they have down south. Saban has built up a dynasty , and there is no reason why they shouldn’t be favourites to win the title for many years to come. With the new playoff system taking place next year, it will be tough to repeat 3 titles in 4 years, but adversity doesn’t seem to bother the Crimson tide.
Many people will now ridicule Notre Dame and say they never deserved the spot. I disagree. Even though their schedule is questionable, and they had more than a little luck in getting here, the fact is that they did win all those games. The programme is on the right path, they will get some great recruits next year, and I am personally glad to see them back in the mix. Tonight is all about the Crimson Tide though. You have to take your hat of for the team from Tuscaloosaa, and expect Nick Saban to hoist the trophy a scary number of times. Guess it is only fitting to end with a Roll Tide!!!
The two most entertaining episodes of the game was when Barret Jones and quarterback McCarron got into a litte scuffle, and everytime Alabama’s beautiful girlfriend Katherine Webb was in the picture!
2 National Championships and Miss Alabama. Not bad AJ McCarron, not bad at all….

Roll Tide indeed, and I’m not sure who is the bigger star AJ or Katherine.
I bet there were more than just me who googled her last night
.
They (Alabama) were always a dynasty ! On the other hand Notre Dame , they’re very much like Lindsay Lohan’s career ………… bloated and completely overrated !
They have really looked great the last couple of years! Saban know has to be mentioned as one of the best coaches ever!
